Next, we came back on deck for another competition, a backstay round robin. This was then followed by preparation of the sails at 0915. Once sail prep was complete, we prowled over to the anchor and hoisted the colours high heave ho. Once the anchor was raised it was time to set sail. REPORT: Red Watch

The second day aboard South Passage began at 0630 hours with the flourish of a bugle. We sprung out of bed and hurried to the deck to enjoy some cold breakfast served by Hugh- yum. This was followed by another exhilarating knot contest, which was devastatingly won by white watch. After this we had a delicious hot brekkie kudos to Hugh.
