The boys onboard were waving to us as we searched for the marina on the bus. Once we found the ship, we went aboard and made up our bunks and met the crew of South Passage. It was fun having our last meal on land for 5 days – pizza on the lawn of the boat club.
Sails were hoisted as soon as we left port and we headed south with lots of tacking toward Cape Capricorn. The ocean was messy but we had good wind to fill the sails. After dinner, the anchorage calmed down and we all went to sleep.
