It was the first day of our last camp at Cathedral. We all felt a mix of sadness as we knew it was our last school adventure with our year level but we were all determined to have a great time. We all anxiously waited to find out which group we would be in as we all hoped we would be with our friends. After finding out which camp groups we were in we hopped onto our bus and travelled to the South Passage which waited for us at The Strand.

When we first arrived on the South Passage we spilt into our watch groups and started to learn about the ship. Setting sail was challenging as we had to complete physically straining activities to get the boat on course. We continued to sail to Maggie, while we learnt how to sail and tie knots. For lunch we had delicious sandwiches which gave us much needed energy for the exciting day. Our knot tying skills were later put to the test when we participated in a knot tying competition. After a day of sailing we pulled into Horseshoe Bay where we would spend the night. We had a marvellous day and could only hope the next 8 days would be as amazing.
