Report by White Watch

We woke up this morning ready for the day (although we were pretty tired). White Watch was awake before the rest of the team, so we ate breakfast before everyone else woke up. After eating, we cleaned the helm with the brass-cleaner and then Joe woke everyone up (with Lilia’s help) by his amazing bugle skills. Soon everyone was awake and ready to set sail! The weather was rougher than yesterday and this was one of the main reasons why a lot of people got and felt sick. I guess we could say it was a pretty “sick” day. ALSO we saw a shark as we were leaving Fitzroy and we also saw DOLPHINS!

After a little while, a lot of us had a little more breakfast (baked beans, scrambled eggs, toast and juice). Shortly afterwards, White Watch finished their watch at about 8AM and another team took over. Some of our team went to sleep because we had an early start, then we had the first knot tying competition of the day (reef knot). After lunch, we had our second shift at 12pm – 3pm. This was a little more difficult because Siahne and Jamie were quite sea sick, but we managed pretty well. At about 4pm ish, we arrived at an inlet near Mourilyan and started the second knot competition (figure of eight). We then ate dinner and dessert and played card games after.
