We were all woken up at 4:30 by an alarm. After several hours of breakfasting and safety we sailed out of the port towards the sand dunes. The watches took it in turns being on watch and tacking so it was a very indirect route.
At 1400, we got to the sand dunes and in 4 boatloads we were taken to shore. We climbed up the huge sand hills that looked like they were from Dune. Unfortunately, we did not find Timothee Chalamet. After sliding down the hills on boogie boards we went for a quick swim then got picked up by the boat.
A few of us swam back to the ship then we all jumped in off the side. After a little more movement courtesy of the motor, we settled down closer to Tangalooma and ate a dinner of chicken, rice and gravy.
