South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Byron Bay HS

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20230321

FROM: Manly to Manly

DATE: 23 March 2023

POSITION: Peel Is

REPORT: Blue Watch

Today we woke up at six and had cold breakfast and warm breakfast in preparation for the snorkelling that we did later. We separated into four groups and got taken out on the tender to the shipwrecks where we swam through the shipwrecks for about twenty minutes.  Golden fish, striped black and yellow fish, rainbow parrot fish, and angelfish surrounded us as we glided through the water. After snorkelling we swam through the current back to the ship with our gear on boogie boards.

After drying off we had burritos for lunch. Then with help from the best watch leader Timmy we raised the sails and set sail towards Peel Island with Iggy as Bosun. When we arrived, we lowered the sails and dropped anchor in Horseshoe Bay. Before preparations for dinner, we cleaned our bed area, some better than others.
