DATE: 24 April 2017

Report by: Blue Watch

We arrived at Manly Harbour at about 9:30 and then had a safety briefing and then we stowed away our gear. After we settled into out bunks we tried on our life jackets and fitted them and went through the emergency exit.

We made way out of the harbour and head to the clear blue water of Morton bay. The weather was awesome and it was a great day we raised the sails and headed east towards Morton Island.

We all came down in our watch groups to eat lunch it was a very tasty salad bun and seconds. Tacking our way north, we all had our rotations while on our first watch and changed sails.

We dropped anchor at 16:00 and after blue watch won stage one of the knotting competition and then it was time for delicious dinner we all had some free time and hit the sack after a very fun big day.
